POLICE and the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator are still investigating the cause of a train and vehicle collision in Swan Hill at the weekend.
A Bendigo-bound train and a car collided shortly after the train left Swan Hill about 1.50pm on Saturday.
One woman was treated for shock at the scene and the other 27 passengers onboard were transferred to coaches to continue their journey.
The vehicle driver, a 51-year-old man from Swan Hill, escaped any serious injury and was taken to hospital for observation.
