WE are up and running again, however social distancing and hygienic practices must be strictly adhered to.
They are just a few of the stringent changes the committee will have to incorporate into the management of the sport, and once these necessary administrative matters have been finalised, the committee will relay them promptly to all members.
The course is changing colour rapidly following the welcome rains last month which lends itself to a different but interesting fun filled, shortened golfing season ahead.
This Sunday we have planned for a fun social practice day for all who would like to attend at the course following the long lay off.
Mens and ladies will be played, just to brush away the cobwebs, with the first of the tee offs around noon, prior to us going to a programmed weekly competition commencing the following Sunday.
On Wednesday, the midweek golf will resume with a 10.30am tee-off, and any players, in particular lady golfers, who would like to try their hand at taking on the exercise and social atmosphere of the sport, please call Sheena Gadsden on 0429 174 435 by 9am on the day.

Murray Downs Ladies

The threat of rain reduced the numbers, but Janette Tucker kept up her good form from the previous week to take out Saturday's stableford event with 35 points from her 26 handicap.
