Wet and windy Cod opening

AS the boats rolled into town for the opening of the Murray cod season, so did unfavourable weather.

It seems we have missed the global warming phenomena locally, unless it manifests itself in cold, wet and windy conditions.

Catching a Murray cod on a dropping barometer is always a tough gig as they generally refuse to feed when the pressure is down.

In saying that, plenty of keen anglers brave...
