ABOUT 30 players took to the course for Tuesday’s mixed Stableford event, with the winner of the days competition being Leigh Paynter with a great score of 38 points from his 15 handicap, ahead of Shane Kelly on a countback.

The nearest the pins went the way of Graeme Giddings (2nd), Wayne Wisby (5th), Roger Walker (11th) and Dale Smith (15th).
