THE AFL season remains uncertain after Queensland announced strict new measures in response to Victoria's increasing number of COVID-19 cases.

Six clubs have been impacted by a fixture shuffle for matches scheduled this weekend including Brisbane and Gold Coast who would be required to quarantine for 14 days should they return home after playing in Melbourne or against a Melbourne-based club.
