THE Mt. Wycheproof and District Racing Club has been running since 1881 and committee member Jackie Noonan said their annual cup day had become "bigger than Christmas."

Home to the smallest mountain in the world, Wycheproof may only have a population of 635 people but Noonan said community spirit helped get their once-a-year meeting up and running.
