TENNIS stars Novak Djokovic and Sophia Kenin may be taking home the Australian Open trophies, but Swan Hill's Luca Gallo had her grasp on the cup more than two weeks beforehand.

The 21-year-old has been the digital marketing coordinator of Tennis Victoria for the past six months and was entrusted with protecting the trophies during the Kids Tennis Day on January 18.
