NORTHERN Mallee has climbed up the tennis ranking, finishing third in this year's 64th annual Victoria Inter-Regional Country Championships on January 3-5.

The Swan Hill Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club had 10 players in the Northern Mallee squad of 27 as 250 of the best players across eight country regions competed.
