SWAN Hill jockey Madison Lloyd will take her place in this year's Mildura Cup aboard Nathan Hobson-trained Oberland today.

The burgeoning third year apprentice has drawn a "sticky gate" in a strong field of competitors but said it's always a thrill to ride on her home track.
