Local football and netball still in holding pattern.

The local football and netball seasons are still in a holding pattern according to Sheridan Harrop, the Area Manager of AFL Central Murray. “Currently no further official notification has come from AFL/AFL Vic around a further postponement of community football. We believe further communication will be received at the end of April / start of May around this. But the Leagues Board have maintained open communication with the Clubs’ presidents around different scenarios of a shortened season. One being a June start but the more likely outcome will be a July start. Discussions have also taken place around what it would look like if no competition was the outcome.
