Shane McHenry the lead golf professional at Murray Downs reported a big turnout for competition play last Saturday. 150 players played in pars with the club enforcing strict COVID-19 guidelines for players. ´We had a big turnout of local players on course last weekend and we have around the same number of players booked in for Anzac Saturday. Most of the players have completely caught up with their gardening and other household chores. Golf is sustaining them through this isolation crisis’ McHenry said.
