FOUR hundred and sixty-seven stairs could not floor Swan Hill Country Fire Authority (CFA) volunteer Monique Bruton.

The 19-year-old conquered the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb on September 7.

If that wasn't enough, she climbed the 28 floors of the Crown Metropol Hotel wearing 25kgs of turnout gear and breathing apparatus.
