THE enthusiasm was high at the Swan Hill Soccer Club on Wednesday night as club members, and a few new faces, watched the exciting semi-final between Australia and England in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Although the result didn’t go the way of the Matildas, losing 3-1, it was still a huge achievement to get as far as they did.
England are the European champions and it was always going to be a tough match.
