Rutherford Street road reconstruction

Swan Hill Rural Council have recently completed resurfacing works on Rutherford Street between Campbell and Curlewis Streets. Svetla Petkova, Director of Infrastructure, Swan Hill Rural City Council told The Guardian that the changes were made to assist with traffic congestion and give better access to businesses around the Rutherford Street and Campbell Street Intersection.

The changes include conversion of several angle to parallel car parking spaces in Rutherford Street, added double lines and soon to be rumble bars east of the roundabout. “Motorists must be aware of the turning restrictions imposed by the double lines” Petkova said.
