MURRAY River Council will continue under the leadership of Mayor Cr Chris Bilkey and Deputy Mayor Cr Nikki Cohen following Tuesday's mayoral election.

This is the first Mayoral election for the new council term, following Local Government Elections on December 4.

Cr Bilkey said he was honoured to once again be elected as Mayor.
