Dispute over orchard worker housing is set for VCAT

A DISPUTE over whether seasonal worker accommodation is ancillary use for a Lake Boga orchard or requires a planning permit appears headed to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Planner Roy Costa applied for a certificate of compliance costing $336.40 in July last year on the grounds that the proposal was ancillary to the use of the land for horticulture.
