Cod and crays off limits

NSW Department of Primary Industries has reminded recreational fishers that the Murray cod and Murray crayfish seasons close on Friday.

NSW DPI fisheries deputy director-general Sean Sloan said the Murray cod fishery closed for three months each year to keep numbers of the native species strong.
