Robinvale men charged

A ROBINVALE man, 20, has been charged and bailed for allegedly possessing cannabis while a 63-year-old man, also from Robinvale, has been issued an infringement notice in relation to possessing a controlled weapon.

Theft from motor vehicle

A WOMAN, 27, from Bulga, was charged and bailed for alleged theft from motor vehicle and fraudulently alter registration label.

Theft from Swan Hill business

POLICE are hunting an unknown male after he allegedly stole from a Swan Hill business.

Police said about 4.15pm on July 1, the male left the Supercheap Auto store in Swan Hill with a bluetooth car connector without making an attempt to pay.

Police probe burglary

A BURGLARY and theft was allegedly committed at a residence on Logan Street in Swan Hill late last month.

Swan Hill police said it happened between 7am and 5pm on June 29.

Missing mobile

A MOBILE phone was allegedly stolen while the victim was shopping at a Swan Hill retail store late last month.

The victim was shopping at Jay Jays on Campbell Street when some time between 4.30pm and 5pm on June 29, the phone was taken.

Protesting vehicle parking

WRITING was allegedly scribbled on a vehicle in what police say was an act of protest for the way it was parked in a Swan Hill street.

A male offender wrote on the car with a permanent type marker in Beveridge Street, Swan Hill, on June 18.

He was charged with willful damage to motor vehicle.

Rock thrown through window

A ROCK was allegedly hurled through a Swan Hill house last month.

Police said about 9.30pm on June 22, a rock was thrown through the front window of a Campbell Street home.

About $3000 worth of damage was done.

Police are investigating if there are links to other similar offences.

Obscene language

A MAN was slapped with a fine after caught allegedly using obscene language in public.

On May 19, a male person was issued with a penalty notice for using the obscene language in the hearing and/or presence of others in a public place.

Hoon nabbed

A DRUG-affected driver has had his car seized after allegedly speeding on the Murray Valley Highway south of Swan Hill last month.

The male driver was intercepted travelling more than 170km/h.

A drug test proved positive.

His car was seized.

He will appear in court at a later date.
