New top cop announced
CURRENT Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Shane Patton has been selected the new Chief Commissioner.
He will step into the top job on June 27.
Deputy Commissioner Patton will take over from Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton, whose five-year term comes to an end later this month.
