BLOWING OUT THE COBWEBS: A DRIVER allegedly caught travelling at 153km/h on the Murray Valley Highway will face court. Swan Hill highway patrol officers intercepted the man near Cohuna at about 3.30pm on December 15. The 58-year-old Echuca man tested positive for methyl amphetamine. He reportedly told officers he was checking the exhaust system when asked why he was travelling at excessive speed. The man's vehicle was impounded for 30 days, costing him $1225. He will receive a summons to appear in court at a later date.
A WALLET has allegedly been stolen from a vehicle parked in Swan Hill.
Police said offenders smashed the window of the vehicle parked on Splatt Street, between 8.30pm on December 17 and 7am the following day.
