WINE GRAPE OVERHAUL
THE Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has flagged a number of improvements to the wine grape industry to improve practices in the sector.

The ACCC will review the industry's uptake of these recommendations in 12-18 months and in the absence of significant progress, will consider recommending a mandatory code for the sector.

The ACCC's Wine Grape Market Study — Final Report was released this week, putting forward a number of recommendations following consultation with growers across the inland wine regions of Murray
