“Weak” response to recycling crisis

MEMBER for Murray Plains Peter Walsh has hit out at the state government's plan to overhaul Victoria's recycling sector, declaring it a "weak response" to the industry's crisis.

The government last week announced a 10-year plan to revamp the state's embattled recycling sector, which has been in crisis since a decision from 2018 from China to ban the import of 24 types of recyclable materials.
