PASSIONATE veterans' advocate Harold Heslop died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, aged 78.
He has left a legacy for many men and women in the district, as the Vietnam Veterans Association Swan Hill sub-branch president, Swan Hill RSL sub-branch senior vice-president and Swan Hill Legacy branch assistant secretary.
