Twenty-year drowning high

LIFE Saving Victoria is urging Victorians to play safe both in and by the state's waterways this summer.

The message comes after a report revealed the number of drownings in Victoria hit a 20-year high in the 2018-19 period, with 56 people losing their lives in Victorian waters last year.
