CLARE farmer Kathleen Harris can now travel to Mildura where she regularly buys goods and services after the remote area was included in the rural city's remote communities list.

Service NSW announced this week that people living in the vicinity of Clare could now obtain a remote communities permit to travel to Mildura — 420km round trip — for essential goods and services, and medical care.
