Tourism boom in the Murray

VISITORS to the Murray region are staying longer and spending more than ever before, new data has revealed.

According to Tourism Research Australia figures, visitors stayed a record 10.3 million nights and spent an all-time high of $1.9 billion in the year ended June 30, 2019 — growth of 5.2 per cent and 7 per cent respectively.
