SWAN HILL woodwork artist Newton Williams has taken out two top prizes for his movable wooden turtle 'Carapace' in this year's Royal Melbourne Show.

Mr Williams claimed first prize in the 2019 novice woodcraft competition and also won the best woodcraft exhibit, earning himself $300 in prize money.
