SWAN Hill man Mark Beames died on or shortly after the day he went missing nearly six years ago, a coroner says.

The then 44-year-old Aboriginal man hasn't been seen since September 4, 2014, when his paternal cousin saw him outside the Swan Hill Club around 1pm with a known family friend.
