SuniTAFE aims to fill agriculture worker gap

A NEW training program could provide labour security and free training for Sunraysia's agriculture sector amid border closures and restrictions due to COVID-19.

Last week, Victorian Minister for Agriculture Jaclyn Symes announced a $70,000 funding boost for SuniTAFE to develop the Horticulture Farm Worker Induction Program, as part of the $50 million Agriculture Workforce Plan.
