MORE than 140 people enjoyed their Australia Day afternoon last week at the Nyah pool. There was a free barbecue, icy poles, lucky door prizes and music all afternoon. Organisers said it was a great event hosted by the Nyah district community swimming pool committee.

"Many people from around the district had a great time at the pool on a beautiful Mallee day," Lauren Paynter said.
