SAFETY upgrades will be made to a section of the Murray Valley Highway between Lake Charm and Lake Boga after being identified as one of Victoria's high-risk regional roads.

Between 2013 and 2017, five crashes were recorded on this stretch of road, resulting in two fatalities and a further seven people suffering serious injuries.
