SWAN Hill is set to host its first cycling road race in nearly 20 years on April 18 and 19.

The Swan Hill Bike Users Group (BUG) are banding together with the Central Victorian Veterans Cycling Club to organise the event.

With BUG having a long-standing history in Swan Hill and a growing membership base of more than 60 members, group president Tim Phillips said the return of racing was imminent.
