Remote towns targeted in bid to attract doctors

ROBINVALE and Dareton are among 18 rural and remote areas across Australia set to benefit as the federal government takes steps to tackle the rural doctor shortage.

The government is putting an extra $5 million into the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS) to target places that have historically struggled to recruit doctors.
