Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Walpeup teen Brock PayneThe 16-year-old was last seen by a family member at his Richardson Street address about 2.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, April 7th,2020).

Police and family hold concerns for Brock’s welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Police have released an image of Brock in the hope someone may recognise him and provide information regarding his current whereabouts. Anyone who sights Brock is urged to contact Mildura Police Station on 5018 5300

A female has been charged and bailed to appear in court in relation to a theft at a Swan Hill Liquor retailer on the 26th March.

To mark the global day of action for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, detectives from the Sexual Offence and Child Investigation team (SOCIT) based at Swan Hill Police Station pledge to support survivors.Victoria Police has around 400 SOCIT detectives who are specially trained in investigating sexual offences and child abuse. They are extremely passionate about what they do and are always focused on what is best for survivors.

Police have received reports about online scams relating to the coronavirus. The scams have included emails and text messages offering information about the virus. Unfortunately, there are some people in our community who seek to illegally profit from others during this challenging time. Where appropriate, police will thoroughly investigate and prosecute this type of offending.
