SHADOW Minister for Regional Victoria and Decentralisation Peter Walsh has slammed the state government for failing to get the Murray Basin Rail Project (MBRP) back on track.

Work on the five-stage project, which first began in 2016, was stalled in 2018 after the project was left out of money, with three stages still to be completed.
