A HOME in Swan Hill was extensively damaged after unattended cooking caught fire.

The incident occurred at a property on Domaille Crescent at around 5.30pm on Monday.

Four Country Fire Authority (CFA) vehicles attended the scene.

Swan Hill captain Dennis Turner said no-one was home at the time.
