AUSTRALIAN flags, early morning smiles, good music and tasty breakfast in Campbell Street began Australia Day for about 1500 people in 1990.

Mayor Russell Annear welcomed all to the 10th annual breakfast.

He said the key to the success of Swan Hill's Australia Day breakfast was the "excellent" support received from organisations and individuals.
