A ROBINVALE solar farm has been connected to the grid, its developer says.

Suntech Power Development Australia, a subsidiary of Suntech Power Japan Corporation, said construction of the 9.47 MWp (AC) solar farm was completed last Thursday.

It was said to be built on 22 hectares and have the capacity to power about 2300 homes.
