NEW Year's Eve in Swan Hill has gone off with a bang for the final time.

Riverside Park will no longer host an annual celebration on the last day of 2020, with Swan Hill council resolved recently not to fund this year in the face of declining numbers.

Councillors resolving unanimously to redirect ratepayers' money into the event support fund.
