Basin plan opportunity awaits as Commonwealth and state water ministers meet

VICTORIA'S peak farming body, Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF), is calling for greater adaptability within the Murray-Darling Basin Plan to ensure farmers can again farm with confidence and certainty, creating jobs to help recover from the COVID-19 economic disaster.

VFF water council chair Richard Anderson said today's meeting of Commonwealth and state water ministers is an opportunity to make important changes to the Basin Plan.
