One in 10 Mallee homes ‘uninsurable’, climate report finds

WITHIN the next eight years, almost one in 10 houses in the Mallee will be considered "uninsurable" according to a recent Climate Council report.

The report has determined the number of houses in Australia considered "high risk" by measuring the probability of an extreme weather event occurring in the area, how exposed a property would be to that event and how vulnerable it is.
