NSW budget bruised with economy forecast to contract by 10 per cent

THE New South Wales Government says it will move from a "response" to "recovery" footing as it steers the state through the biggest economic challenge as a result of COVID-19.

NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said creating jobs and restoring confidence for the hundreds of thousands of people and businesses impacted by COVID-19 was at the heart of the government's economic plan.
