A FIRE along Murrawee Road on Tuesday afternoon has been attributed to "misadventure", with firefighters unable to find "rhyme or reason" for why it started.

Five trucks from the Swan Hill, Beverford and Woorinen South brigades responded to reports of a fire burning along the road just before 3pm.
