A COHUNA dairy farmer has hit out at the National Party for treating Mr Keelty's inquiry into the Murray-Darling Basin's water resources as a "puppet".

Mr Keelty's leading recommendation suggested the Murray-Darling Basin Authority should further analyse reduced inflows from the northern basin and its impact on water sharing.
