Maxwell: Victoria should follow suit

MEMBER for Northern Victoria Tania Maxwell wants the state to follow New South Wales' lead and look to relax the threshold for 'tendency evidence' for child sex abuse cases.

Tendency evidence is used to prove a person has a tendency to either act in a particular way, or have a particular state of mind.
