TWO Buloke Shire councillors have been honoured for their contributions to the region.

Cr David Pollard and Cr Ellen White have each received 10-year councillor service awards from the Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV).

Both were elected to council in November 2008.

Deputy president rural for MAV and deputy of Corangamite Shire Council Ruth Gstrein was on hand to present the awards.
