ASSAULT

A MAN has been remanded in custody following an alleged serious assault on December 23.

Police attended the scene of the alleged assault around lunchtime, with a 26-year-old Swan Hill man arrested nearby.

The victim reportedly sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

He was treated at the Swan Hill hospital and later released.
