Emergency services responded to reports of a collision between a truck and a car about 5.30am on the Mallee Highway, about five kilometres west of the township.

Police told media yesterday they believed the driver, a 30-year-old man from Woodville Gardens in Adelaide, was fatigue-affected when his car collided with the truck. The man died at the scene.
