BOATERS have been urged to "stay dry" after a man was arrested on the Murray River, allegedly caught at the wheel while intoxicated.

NSW Maritime has reminded boaters around New South Wales the blood alcohol limit on the water is the same as on the road — 0.05 — after a Victorian man was arrested on February 8 above the limit, with four passengers on board and a skier behind the boat.
