A SOUTH Australian driver has escaped serious injury after his car rolled an "unknown number" of times just outside of Balranald.

About 4.15pm on Sunday, January 19, Balranald Police attended the rollover of a Toyota Hilux, approximately 10km from the Sturt Hwy intersection.

A 45-year-old male was travelling along the Kyalite-Balranald Road when he swerved to avoid a collision with a kangaroo.
